I recently stayed at a charming retreat in the Swan Valley and had a wonderful experience. The heritage building and beautiful gardens created a picturesque and welcoming atmosphere. The room was clean and well-equipped, with a super comfortable bed that ensured a restful night's sleep. The location was perfect, with restaurants just a short walk away and the stunning Swan Valley right at my doorstep. I can't recommend this retreat enough and I'm already planning my next mini break there.

Gateway to Swan Valley, ideal for wine visits. Terrace with BBQ and guest laundry. Air-conditioned rooms. Shopping nearby at Midland Gate and DFO. Outdoor pool for recreation. Originally built in 1897.
Who needs natural light? No proper window, just like a comfortable prison.

We recently had a romantic escape at a cozy hotel that offered comfortable rooms with nice bedding and fluffy pillows. The hotel was also conveniently located near restaurants and shops, making it easy to explore the area. we enjoyed the free breakfast that was provided every morning. The hotel staff was very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
The room was a bit noisy, which made it difficult to get a good night's sleep at times. the Wi-Fi was spotty and we experienced a few issues with the plumbing in the bathroom.

The room itself was clean and well-equipped with all the amenities we needed, including ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. We had a fantastic stay at Guildford River Retreat for a quick getaway without traveling too far. The grounds were stunning, making us feel like we were far away from the city, even though we were just across from the train station. The staff was lovely, the bed was comfortable, and we even got to see some animals! The breakfast in the morning was delicious and the gardens were beautiful, especially the wisteria pergolas.
Would recommend this hotel.

During our stay, we had a serendipitous experience at a well-furnished property near a historic, quaint community. The room itself had lovely fresh sheets and a comfortable bed with a choice of pillows. The host provided real coffee, fresh milk, and porcelain mugs. What's more, the property featured an exceptional garden and was conveniently located near Guildford train station and various cafes.
The windows faced a wall that prohibited us from seeing outside, making it feel like a comfortable prison.
